Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO to lead the accounting and finance functions for a growing single-family homebuilding company. This role involves ownership of financial operations and strategic partnership with the Head of Operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead all accounting and finance functions.

- Develop financial strategies aligned with growth.

- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and financial modeling.

- Liaise with banks and manage loans and credit facilities.

- Oversee full-cycle accounting and ensure timely financial reporting.

- Partner with operations to assess project feasibility and monitor job costs.

- Manage a small accounting team and improve financial processes.

**Qualifications:**

• 10+ years in accounting and finance, preferably in real estate development or homebuilding.
• Experience with construction accounting, job costing, and development finance
• Strong understanding of construction lending, capital stacks, and banking relationships
• Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic finance and hands-on accounting responsibilities
• Experience working in small to mid-sized organizations with lean teams
• CPA strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
