Overview:
As the Finance Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Receivables Management
· Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective management of accounts receivable.
· Monitor receivables aging and proactively ensure follow up is being done by the team on past due invoices to expedite payment.
· Implement best practices and tools to streamline receivables processes, reduce manual intervention, and enhance productivity.
· Ensure monthly reports and analysis on receivables performance, including aging analysis is being made by the team allocated.
· Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on receivables, trends, and areas for improvement.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track receivables performance against targets and benchmarks.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
I. Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.
II. Ensure comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting.
III. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
I. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
II. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting principles, and internal policies and procedures.
III. Ensure proper coordination with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
I. Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.
II. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Investment Due Diligence:
i. Ensure proper investment due diligence is being maintained by the allocated fund managers.
Budget Planning and Development:
I. Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with Branch Heads, Vertical Heads and Department Heads.
II. Ensure budgeting guidelines, templates, and timelines to facilitate the budget preparation process.
III. Ensure proper coordination is done by the team member with departmental heads to gather input, assumptions, and budgetary requirements for revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Budget Analysis and Review:
i. Ensure comprehensive analysis of budget proposals to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, financial targets, and operational priorities.
ii. Identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement, and provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
Budget Implementation and Monitoring:
i. Establish systems and controls for monitoring budget execution, including regular review of actual vs. budgeted expenses and revenue.
ii. Ensure proper guidance and support to heads in managing their budgets effectively and addressing budget variances or challenges.
Team Leadership and Development:
I. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
II. Develop talent within the finance team through training, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
