Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the overall financial strategy and operations of DayZee Farms. The role requires a strategic finance leader capable of managing large-scale agribusiness operations, investment planning, budgeting, financial controls, compliance, and business expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, commercial understanding, and expertise in handling complex financial environments within rapidly growing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

· Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives

· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

· Provide strategic financial insights to executive management and board members

· Drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency

Financial Operations

· Oversee Accounts, Finance, Treasury, Taxation, Procurement, and Audit functions

· Manage company cash flows, banking relationships, and financing arrangements

· Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Supervise internal controls, risk management, and compliance procedures

Business & Investment Planning

· Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for new agricultural and livestock projects

· Evaluate capital expenditures, infrastructure investments, and expansion plans

· Support investment decisions related to livestock genetics, IVF labs, solar projects, and farming operations

Compliance & Governance

· Ensure compliance with IFRS, SECP regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards

· Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

· Monitor legal and financial risks across operations

Operational Collaboration

· Work closely with farm operations, procurement, and supply chain teams

· Monitor inventory costs, operational expenditures, and resource utilization

· Develop financial KPIs and reporting systems for business performance tracking
