MedNet also develops and maintains extensive networks of hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies to ensure cost-effective access to healthcare. MedNet’s Finance department safeguards and manages the organization’s financial integrity and sustainability. Its core functions encompass strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, performance management, treasury and capital management, accounting and financial reporting, procurement and accounts payable, credit management, and corporate tax compliance. The department ensures the prudent allocation of resources, effective risk management, and the ongoing financial stability and growth of the organization. Operating as a shared services centre for all legal entities and business units, the finance team comprises over 20 professionals.
Reporting hierarchically to the CEO of MedNet and functionally to the Regional CFO of Munich Re, the MedNet CFO role encompasses the following key duties and responsibilities:
