Job Description

Job Title: Chief HR Officer

Department: HR

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Purpose

Candidate is required for the Chief HR Officer position. He/She will be Responsible for heading the HR function of a Multinational Group

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

1. Strategy Development

Contribute to the development of MIG’s corporate strategy and to the derivation of its strategic plans while leading the

development of the functional strategy as cascaded down from the company strategy and oversee its implementation to

ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing functional strategies across MIG.

2. People Management

Lead the team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and

succession planning in order to maximise team performance and achieve functional objectives.

3. Operational Management

Oversee the function’s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes in order to make

sure, MIG’s major objectives are achieved while reaching high performance standards and meeting established targets.

4. Budget Management

Lead the development and consolidation of the functional budget and monitor the function’s financial performance versus the

budget, to ensure the exercising of financial authority within established limits and the control of functional budget

expenditure.

5. Human Resources Management

Oversee the HR Strategy and its policies in order to ensure alignment with MIG’s overall strategy, mission, vision and objectives.

Supervise the implementation of its HR activities (Organisational Development, Rewards & Performance Management, and

Talent & Recruitment) in order to achieve improvement in MIG’s manpower productivity, competencies and employee

satisfaction.

6. Admin & General Services Management

Direct the administration operations in order to ensure alignment with MIG’s corporate, strategic and business objectives and approve the provision of facility services to all concerned departments.

Supervise the Admin & General Services department pertaining to all employee relations, administrative team, and

governmental requirements in order to ensure proper adherence to MIG’s internal and external policy.

7. Information Technology Management

Oversee the IT department and its activities in order to ensure availability of the best in class technology infrastructure in line with the best leading practices and MIG’s internal business needs.

Ensure that the information security applications and all protection programs and devices are implemented and upgraded in order to safeguard MIG’s information from theft, loss, or corruption.

8. Policies & Procedures

Oversee the proper development, implementation, and communication of the function’s policies and procedures, to make sure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are clearly communicated and duly fulfilled.

Requirements

Knowledge / Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with demonstrated abilities in Excel.
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships and maintain work ethics.
  • Expert level experience in multitasking with the ability to set priorities as per the given situation.
  • Ability to stick to time constraints
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

Education /Certifications

· Master’s degree in an HR field

Experience

· Above 18 year’s experience in the relevant field.
