Chief Investment Officer - Sports, Media & Entertainment

Hays are partnered with an Investment Firm of a diversified group Looking to hire a Chief Investment Officer to join the firm, combining portfolio management excellence with active deal origination. The platform operates with a lean senior team, leveraging shared services from Group.

The group is currently deploying circa USD 1bn across its platforms, with a growing focus on direct investment ventures across Sports, Media, Lifestyle, Entertainment. The CIO will be responsible for originating and executing new investment opportunities across these sectors and will oversee and enhance the portfolio performance across existing investments without direct operational involvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, investment or related
• MBA or CFA highly desirable
• 12+ years of Investment experience with relevant sector exposure
• Strong understanding of GCC markets
• Proven track record of enhancing performance of portfolios
• Proven deal origination capabilities
• Senior stakeholder management with ability to engage at Board, CEO level
