The CMO leads enterprise-wide strategy and execution of, marketing, and communications initiatives across REDICO, American House, and Continuum Services. This role is responsible for elevating brand visibility and oversight of a high-performing marketing sales team across disciplines. The CMO sets the vision, aligns internal and external messaging, and ensures the consistent and compelling delivery of brand narratives across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to drive occupancy company’s and properties’ strategic goals and optimize revenue generation.
  • Serve as the enterprise brand steward, ensuring unified brand messaging across all business units.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on new business initiatives, including new market entry, acquisitions, and development projects as well as investor and customer proposals
  • Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive data to guide business decisions.

Marketing, PR & Communications

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, public relations, and media relations strategy.
  • Oversee creative development, digital presence, search engine optimization social media, advertising, events, brochures and promotional materials.
  • As needed act as a key spokesperson and prepare leadership for media engagement, press events, and public appearances.
  • Manage crisis communications planning and brand protection.

Sales Strategy & Performance

  • Provide strategic oversight of the sales function to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales execution.
  • Partner with sales leadership to support performance goals, incentive design, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Leverage marketing insights to inform sales programs and pricing strategies that drive occupancy and optimize profitability.

Team & Culture Development

  • Build, lead, and inspire a collaborative, high-performing, and engaged team
  • Establish a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on sales and marketing team recruiting strategy
  • Provide guidance on training programs to support talent development and brand excellence.

Strategic Planning

  • Manage marketing budgets, including P&L accountability and ROI tracking.
  • Provide transparent reporting and insights to executive stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, marketing effectiveness, lead conversion, and occupancy growth and implement programs to support and maximize profitability and NOI.

Skills:

  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to develop and implement long-term marketing strategies
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, and online advertising.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in sales, marketing, or communications; preferably in senior living, real estate, or service-based industries.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth, brand development, and leading enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
    Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to lead internal teams and represent the organization externally.
