Chief Marketing Officer

Greek Time Corp has built CliqWave, a modern operating system for organizations like fraternities, sororities, campus clubs, and other high-trust group communities to hold members accountable and help exceed individual and organizational goals.

CliqWave brings together what these organizations currently juggle across scattered tools: group chat, events, attendance, points/recognition, media sharing, and safety-forward moderation, with ongoing expansion into deeper calendar integrations and advanced accountability features.

The Role We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to lead strategy and execution across brand, growth, lifecycle, and partnerships. This is a fractional/contract leadership role for a veteran marketing executive who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to shape category leadership in a market with massive community density and built-in network effects.

Significant stock options are offered for the right leader who wants meaningful ownership tied to long-term outcomes.

What You’ll Own

  • Category positioning & narrative for Greek life and adjacent high-trust communities
  • Go-to-market strategy across chapters, campuses, alumni networks, and national-organization-adjacent ecosystems
  • Acquisition + activation systems that scale with lean resources
  • Lifecycle and retention strategy (onboarding, engagement loops, reactivation)
  • Referral and organization-to-organization growth mechanics
  • Content, social, and community strategy that builds trust and pull-demand
  • Partnership pipeline with campus ecosystems, vendors, and relevant membership networks
  • Marketing analytics and experimentation cadence with clear learning loops

Ideal Background

  • 12-15+ years of progressive marketing leadership, including executive ownership of brand and growth
  • Demonstrated experience building 0→1 and early 1→10 go-to-market engines
  • Strong operator mindset: crisp prioritization, fast experimentation, hands-on execution
  • Experience with B2B2C, membership, community, education, or identity-driven platforms is a major plus
  • Comfortable partnering closely with product and executive leadership to shape roadmap and market fit

First 90 Days (High-Impact Outcomes)

  • Refresh positioning, messaging architecture, and core sales narrative
  • Deliver a prioritized organization acquisition strategy with testable hypotheses
  • Define lifecycle map and retention drivers with a measurable experiment backlog
  • Build a partnership target list and outreach cadence
  • Establish a lightweight marketing ops and reporting rhythm
