About the Role

We are hiring a Chief of Staff for the Strategy & Planning Office — a high-ownership role designed for someone who enjoys working across functions, solving complex problems, and enabling leadership-level decision making. The role offers wide exposure across finance, strategy, structuring, and operations, with a pathway to grow into a leadership position in 18–24 months.


If you have experience in investment banking, FP&A, consulting, or strategic roles in high-growth organisations, this will give you front-row access to how multi-business groups scale.




About the Reporting Manager – Member of the Board


You will work directly with a Member of the Board who has built and scaled ventures across technology, consumer, and defence sectors. He also serves on the boards of multiple group companies and works closely with investors, bankers, and leadership teams on financial strategy, scalability, and operational performance.


This role will place you at the centre of group-level strategy, financial planning, and organisational structuring.

What You Will Drive



1. Financial Planning & Analysis (30%)


• Support group-level financial consolidation, forecasting, and reviews

• Build MIS frameworks and dashboards for business visibility

• Support cost optimisation, capital planning, and audit processes

• Prepare financial summaries and insights for leadership and board meetings



2. Strategic Planning & Execution (25%)


• Convert strategic priorities into action plans and timelines

• Implement OKRs, KPIs, and performance dashboards

• Structure leadership reviews with agenda, insights, and follow-up actions

• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements



3. Organisational Structuring & Governance (20%)


• Coordinate legal, secretarial, and financial alignment across entities

• Support documentation, compliance hygiene, and internal reporting structures

• Build templates and communication formats for cross-entity collaboration



4. Investor, Banking & Fundraising Support (15%)


• Prepare pitch decks, IMs, and investor-facing documents

• Work with investment bankers, PE/VC firms, and advisors

• Lead data coordination during fundraising and due diligence

• Track financial KPIs linked to growth and long-term planning



5. Leadership Coordination & Communication (10%)


• Act as a coordination point between the Board Member and functional heads

• Synthesise data and updates into structured briefs

• Prepare presentations for investors, banks, and strategic partners

• Ensure clear documentation and timely follow-through across teams




What You Bring


• 3–5 years in investment banking, FP&A, consulting, or corporate strategy

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

• Ability to translate numbers into insights and recommendations

• Experience working with multi-stakeholder environments

• High ownership, strong communication, and structured problem solving

• Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving setups

• Professional discretion when handling financial and strategic data




Compensation


₹24–30 LPA + performance-linked ESOP eligibility (as per company policy)

Full-time | On-site (Gurgaon / Manesar)
