About Digital.enterprises
digital.enterprises is a Qatar-headquartered technology company building ADAPT—an AI-enabled, real-time platform to transform how the energy sector sources, manages and transacts Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) materials. We build on Microsoft technologies and align with Qatars digital transformation and SME enablement agenda.
About ADAPT
Built on Microsoft Azure, ADAPT connects buy-side and sell-side ERP systems in real time to create transparency, interoperability and intelligent matching across the energy ecosystem. ADAPT is a data mesh: the value is unlocked only when workflows are digitised end-to-end and data is accurate, structured and interoperable.
The Opportunity
This COO role builds the operating engine that makes the ADAPT mesh work in the real world. The platform is owned by our Chief Products Officer and built by our CTO and the engineering team. You own the operational layers outside the platform: supplier digitisation, ERP adoption at scale, data quality, and enterprise-grade integrations.
On the buy-side, most operators and major EPCs run SAP landscapes (S/4HANA or ECC), sometimes others. If ADAPT cannot integrate cleanly into SAP-led operating models—especially across maintenance, turnarounds, projects and MRO procurement—then real-time remains theoretical. You will ensure our integration strategy and partner delivery succeed in governed, secure and auditable SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and run a sell-side ERP implementation factory delivering at-pace Dynamics 365 Business Central deployments for SME suppliers, with repeatable playbooks and measurable throughput.
-
Create templated configurations, standard specifications and QA gates that enable mass-customisation without bespoke chaos.
-
Own supplier onboarding end-to-end: readiness, data cleansing/migration, process digitisation, training, go-live, hypercare and support.
-
Establish sell-side data governance that protects the mesh: catalogue/taxonomy, units of measure, item master discipline, critical attributes, and data-quality SLAs.
-
Lead sell-side integration delivery: coordinate Azure-based connectors/APIs, security, mapping, testing, cutover and monitoring—tight alignment with the CTOs architecture.
-
Lead buy-side integration delivery in SAP-first environments: ensure ADAPT integrates into operator/EPC landscapes (SAP S/4HANA/ECC as default; Oracle where relevant) with clear controls and reliability targets.
-
Translate plant reality into integration requirements across SAP EAM/PM, MM and PS (and Ariba where used): work orders, shutdown/turnaround execution, reservations, goods movements, long-lead spares and supplier performance.
-
Build and manage a high-performance SI partner bench: select SAP/Oracle certified integrators with oil & gas references; set standards/SLAs, test gates and escalation; hold partners to outcomes.
-
Build and lead the delivery organisation (factory team), offshore-based: hiring, capability building, tooling, delivery discipline and continuous improvement.
-
Run the business through metrics: dashboards and cadence covering throughput, cycle time, defect rates, integration uptime, adoption and unit economics.
What Youll Build
Within 6–18 months, you will have built:
-
A repeatable ERP onboarding product for suppliers: packaged offers, templates, training and support that scale from dozens to hundreds of SMEs.
-
A Dynamics 365 Business Central template library with integration-ready data standards and rapid deployment patterns.
-
A SAP-first buy-side integration blueprint (S/4HANA/ECC; Oracle where required): governance, testing, cutover and operational support playbooks.
-
A factory team with predictable capacity and quality, plus a partner operating model that is measurable and enforceable.
-
A resilient integration pipeline (monitoring + incident management) that makes real-time reliable.
Who You Are
-
Senior operator (typically 15+ years) with a track record of building delivery engines that scale—teams, partners, tooling and cadence.
-
Proven success delivering SME ERP implementations at volume using productised/factory methods (not occasional one-offs).
-
Microsoft credibility is mandatory: relevant certifications and demonstrable success delivering Dynamics 365 Business Central programmes; ability to operate as (or build towards) Microsoft Solution Partner capability in Business Applications.
-
SAP buy-side credibility is essential: you have led/governed SAP-centric integration delivery in industrial environments and can evidence measurable impact (e.g., work-order readiness, materials availability, cycle time, data quality).
-
Working mastery across SAP MRO + projects workflows—especially SAP EAM/PM, MM and PS—and the ability to translate processes into integration requirements and data standards.
-
Relevant SAP certification(s) in S/4HANA domains (Asset Management/PM, Sourcing & Procurement, or integration disciplines), or equivalent repeated enterprise delivery at high stakes.
-
Strong partner governance and commercial rigour: contracts/SLAs, QA, escalation, delivery economics.
-
Clear, calm leadership with high standards; comfortable operating in regulated, safety-critical environments.
Domain advantage (strong plus):
oil & gas MRO knowledge beyond procurement—asset management, integrity/reliability, production operations, and the planning reality of maintenance, turnarounds and projects.
Why This Matters
MRO supply chains sit at the centre of operational reliability, safety, cost and resilience. When SMEs cannot digitise, integrate and transact cleanly—and when enterprise SAP landscapes cannot interoperate—everyone pays: delays, stockouts, inventory bloat and avoidable downtime. Your work enables ecosystem-level digitisation that improves how Qatars energy sector keeps assets running—smarter, faster and with less waste.
