Chief Procurement Officer

  • Develop and implement company-wide procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, machinery, services, and contracts.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Lead price negotiations, finalize rate contracts, and manage supplier agreements.
  • Ensure cost optimization and budget control across procurement activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
  • Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Oversee purchase orders (PO), GRN, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and audit requirements.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the procurement team.
  • Implement and manage ERP / procurement systems and data accuracy.
  • Track market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.
  • Prepare and present MIS and performance reports to management.
  • Manage procurement risks and reduce supplier dependency.
  • Support sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
