- Develop and implement company-wide procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, machinery, services, and contracts.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Lead price negotiations, finalize rate contracts, and manage supplier agreements.
- Ensure cost optimization and budget control across procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Oversee purchase orders (PO), GRN, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and audit requirements.
- Lead, train, and mentor the procurement team.
- Implement and manage ERP / procurement systems and data accuracy.
- Track market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.
- Prepare and present MIS and performance reports to management.
- Manage procurement risks and reduce supplier dependency.
- Support sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives.
