Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Overview:

Nunez Moreno Law Firm is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead our risk management efforts. This essential role will ensure that effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies are in place to protect the firm’s interests and maintain our commitment to excellence in legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate current practices and recommend necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management to integrate risk management into the firm’s strategic planning processes.
• Monitor compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements, ensuring adherence across all operations.
• Train and educate staff on risk management policies and best practices to foster a culture of risk awareness.
• Prepare and present risk reports to the executive team and the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in risk management are preferred.
• Proven experience as a Chief Risk Officer or in a senior risk management role, preferably within the legal sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
