Receive extradition files from the Technical Office of the Public Prosecutor and receive cases returned from the Court of Cassation from the clerk of the competent judge.

Assigning the appealed crimes to the competent department and setting the hearing date according to the electronic appeal reports and by following up the referred and pending cases (appeal and discrimination).

Issuing the judicial announcement to the parties to the appeal to attend the hearing date and send it to the competent authority in accordance with Articles (156), (158) and (159) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Article (9) of the Code of Civil Procedure and according to the methodology of issuing the judicial announcement.

Request non-electronic appeal files from the archives or from the concerned departments, include the appeal reports in them, send them to the judge before the hearing, and assign them by computer to the members of the department after being allocated by the head of the department.

Addressing the competent authorities to secure the presentation of defendants to the court by video conferencing - remote litigation - or bringing them to the court session.

Organize the courtroom before the start of the session, make sure the number of cases referred to the court according to the list of sessions, and review all the requirements for holding the appeal session and make sure they are available.

Ensure the presence of case parties, translators and witnesses before the start of the session and inform the judge to announce the start of the court session.

Call the parties to the cases and respond to the court's inquiries in accordance with Article (165) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Prove the attendance of the parties to the appeal case in accordance with Articles (189-190-215) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Document the minutes of the sessions electronically in the public prosecution program and ensure that they are approved by the judge's clerk and the head of the department.

Implementing the court decisions issued at the session and issuing the necessary letters (according to the methodology of following up the procedures of court sessions and implementing court decisions) and according to the approved performance indicator.

Sign the electronic judgments or the original paper copy of the judgment after printing it in accordance with Article 210 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Assigning computerized cases to the members of the department (assigning the judge).

Sending the non-electronic files of the judgment to the enforcement department and sending the non-electronic files of the judgment to the judges of the Court of Appeal.

Reviewing the schedules (hearing schedule, hearing statement, follow-up statement of referred cases and trial record of appeal/discrimination) To ensure that the court issues decisions in all cases heard in the session.

Notify the Bail Division of the cases in which the defendant was released on bail/continued on bail/imprisoned at the hearing.

Notify the Cassation Prosecution of death sentences / or confirmation of the death sentence on the same date of the session to register the appeal.

Re-seizure of seized items in the same session and in the courtroom by the prosecutor present.

Executing some customer requests according to the decision of the court judges, such as moving or delaying the hearing date or canceling the appeal.

Checking and administrative handling of appeal cases on files in terms of completing signatures on minutes and rulings, attaching

documents, referring the civil part, referring cases of lack of jurisdiction to the competent authority, and sending extradition cases to the technical office (according to the methodology of following up the procedures of court hearings and implementing court decisions) and according to the approved performance indicator.
