It also requires close collaboration with marketing, retail, e-commerce, and finance teams to ensure smooth product launches and product availability.
Extensive experience working with brands such as Outfitters, ONE, LAMA, Bonanza Satrangi, Lawrencepur, Cougar, or Breakout is highly desirable.
A seasoned leader with at least 10 years of relevant experience is expected to drive performance improvements, operational efficiency, and supply chain excellence in this dynamic environment.

- Establish and oversee cost, margin, and vendor strategies, including target bill of materials (BOM), margin targets, vendor selection, cost negotiation, and fabric commitments.
- Balance minimum order quantity requirements against inventory risks to optimize stock levels and financial commitments.
- Ensure production schedules meet quality standards and delivery timelines by identifying and resolving bottlenecks between design teams and factories.

- Prevent over-purchasing by managing inventory through informed decisions on repeats, product drops, and phase-outs to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Collaborate with merchandising and finance teams to decide on markdown strategies that protect margins and liquidity.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align product launch timing with marketing campaigns, ensure retail and e-commerce product availability, and manage working capital effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for product performance and supply chain outcomes, taking ownership of product failures and driving solutions.
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators including sell-through rates, design hit rates, gross margin targets, inventory turnover, dead stock levels, and inventory-to-sales ratios.
- Maintain execution excellence through tracking on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery metrics, reducing time-to-market from concept to live, and controlling cost variance relative to BOM targets.
- Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by minimizing return rates due to fit or quality issues and reducing rejection and defect rates throughout the supply chain.
- Manage and develop a team of 20 supply chain professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement mindset.
