What We're Looking For

Join Third Street Family Health Services as a part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and lead the way in delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children and teens. You’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment through psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and medication management — empowering youth and families toward healing and resilience. Working within a collaborative, trauma-informed environment, you’ll partner with parents, schools, and care teams to ensure each child receives personalized, holistic support rooted in our mission of quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents, addressing developmental, behavioral, and family dynamics.
  • Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, anxiety, mood, trauma-related, and autism spectrum conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that promote stability and growth.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications tailored to pediatric and adolescent populations, ensuring safety and family education.
  • Collaborate closely with families, schools, and interdisciplinary providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered psychiatric care.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio license to practice medicine (MD or DO).
  • Board certification in Psychiatry required; certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry strongly preferred.
  • DEA license with appropriate schedule privileges.
  • Prior experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical settings preferred.
  • Experience in community psychiatric care or integrated care strongly preferred.
  • Ability to report onsite once a week required.
