As a Child Care Administrator, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate staff, implement care plans, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Your leadership will empower staff, foster positive relationships with families, and promote a vibrant community where children can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies
- Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and professional team
- Develop and oversee individualized care plans tailored to each child's developmental needs, including those requiring specialized care such as memory or developmental disabilities support
- Coordinate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain accurate documentation related to child progress, incident reports, health records, and compliance audits
- Oversee budgeting processes, resource allocation, and inventory management to ensure efficient facility operations
- Foster strong relationships with families by providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing concerns promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor or higher in early childhood education or related field.
- Experience in operating a large five star rated center
- At least 3-5 years experience in classroom instruction in a 4-5 star licensedd center
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to work 40 plus hours
- Be knowledgeable of North Carolina childcare rules and regulations
- Bi/Lingual a plus
