Child Care Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with behavior management and discipline when necessary
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area

Qualifications:

-Must have at least 6 units in Child Development either completed or in progress

-3 units in Infant and Toddler Care Required
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, babysitting, or classroom management preferred
- Ability to engage and interact with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different situations and handle emergencies calmly
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hiring

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
