Child Care Day Care Career / Preschool

We are looking for employees that love children and want a career caring for, teaching and help them develop.

We are looking for loving and patient caregivers for Child Care Providers-Teachers to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. NOTE we are not a babysitting center and therefore you will not be permitted your cell phone or other electronic device while working.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Follow established health and safety guidelines
• Follow a full schedule of prepared activities (creative alternative lessons welcomed); using a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc)
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as diaper changes and potty training
• Constantly interact and talk/sing with children
• Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track and age appropriate development
• Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
• Observe children’s interactions and promote unity
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Interact with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Monitor and manage behavior to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
• Adhere with policies, standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
• Provide basic cleaning

Sklls

• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills
• Certificate in first aid and CPR (may obtain after hiring)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
