Position Overview

Leap Frog Academy is seeking an energetic and passionate Child Care Director to lead the center’s daily operations. The Director will ensure high-quality educational programming while creating a positive, engaging atmosphere for children, staff, and families. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape early childhood experiences and promote developmental excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center while ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and quality standards
• Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff through training, guidance, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote learning, creativity, and social-emotional development
• Foster strong relationships with families through consistent communication and engagement opportunities
• Manage administrative duties including enrollment, scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff at all times
• Promote a positive team culture focused on collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; higher education in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must be willing to complete and pass an FBI Fingerprint Background Check
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a child care or preschool setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in teaching
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, staff, and families
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with strong attention to compliance and detail
• Valid certifications required by licensing authorities (e.g., CPR/First Aid, Negative TB Test)

Pay: $40,320.00 - $51,840.00 per year
