Duties

• Lead and supervise classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental best practices and curriculum standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and qualified team.
• Oversee child supervision to ensure safety and engagement during all activities, including toddler care, infant care, and preschool programs.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws, health regulations, and licensing requirements related to childcare centers.
• Foster positive communication with parents through regular updates, conferences, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Implement behavior management strategies that promote respectful interactions and social-emotional growth among children.
• Coordinate curriculum planning focused on childhood development instruction, early childhood education principles, and classroom management techniques.
• Ensure all staff hold current certifications in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and other relevant safety training.
• Conduct regular safety checks of the facility, including playgrounds and classroom environments, to uphold health standards.
• Promote an inclusive environment by supporting children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and collaboration with specialists.

Required Experience & Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be strongly considered
• Proven leadership experience in an operational or educational management role
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
• Experience in strategic planning, operational oversight, or customer-facing leadership environments
• Strong executive-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and execute effectively
• Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and leadership development
• Leadership style grounded in service, empathy, influence, and collaboration

Pay: $51,048.38 - $61,477.62 per year
