Child Care Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Supervise and interact with children during activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with children in daycare or classroom settings. (preferred)
• Proficient in behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
• Ability to provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing as needed.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Experience in nannying or similar roles is a plus, showcasing adaptability in various childcare environments.

Requirements

• 18 hours of valid child care certificates through free online platforms (ask for details).
• Reliable transportation.
