Child Care Teacher

South Davis Community Hospital is accepting applications for a part time (24-30 hours/wk) child care teacher to work at our on-site child care facility. Candidates should have a desire to work with toddler aged children. This full time position is during the week from 8 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:

-Work in a team environment to love, nurture and teach young children

-Maintain a safe, clean and organized classroom

-Serve meals

-Provide lesson plans, and be willing to learn child developmental needs and mile stones

-Our curriculum includes a different theme for each week along with a letter, number, and shape. You will be required to adequately care for children of various ages. Prepare their food, insure they take a nap, and provide educational and developmentally appropriate activities.

Applicants must meet background-screening qualifications, be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED, have or be willing to obtain a current food handler's permit and CPR/FA Certification.
