Child Care Worker

Position overview

Supervise children of various ages in a safe, fun, kid friendly environment.

Primary Job Function

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment while caring for the children in the Treehouse.

Essential Job Functions

· Responsible for supervising and orchestrating games and activities for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years

· Maintains the toys and equipment in a safe and clean manner

· Provides excellent customer service to the Members

· Takes and handles payment in forms of cash, check, or credit card

· Communicates effectively with parents on the needs and behaviors of their children

· Works hours as scheduled by the Program Manager for Children’s Programs

Requirements

· Must enjoy playing with and entertaining children

· Ability to provide discipline when required

· Maintains proper record keeping

· Basic computer knowledge

· Must be available for a minimum 2 shifts per week. Various shifts required. Must be available to work Friday evenings.

· CPR certification within 30 days of employment required
