We’re looking for a kind, patient, and dependable Child Respite Provider to support two wonderful young boys with special needs. Care will take place in your home and/or the community. The ideal candidate is nurturing, reliable, and confident providing structure, clear routines, and positive encouragement. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference while supporting a great family.
The boys enjoy watching cartoons, playing with toy trucks and cars, blocks, dinosaur toys, and being outdoors.
Location: Fall Creek, WI (Eau Claire County)
Wage: $17.70 per hour
Schedule: 5 hours per week – Prefers Saturdays or Sundays 1pm to 6pm
Responsibilities:

Supervision/Companionship

Cares: Toileting (assistance wiping/pull up change/clothing adjustment if necessary) Meal Prep

Redirect and deescalate behaviors appropriately as needed with a calm manner/positive attitude

Outings with both boys in their community for activities
Qualifications:

5 years of previous experience with special needs children/Autism preferred

Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance REQUIRED.
- Provide a safe, engaging environment to provide respite services in your home.
- The family prefers providers to have HS Diploma/GED and be at least 21 years of age or older.
