We’re looking for a kind, patient, and dependable Child Respite Provider to spend quality time with a teen girl with autism and additional special needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a positive, trusting relationship while supporting her growth in independence and confidence. Care will take place in the provider’s home and in the community, with fun and engaging activities tailored to her interests.

Location: Black River Falls, WI
Wage: $14.13 per hour
Schedule: Up to 12 hours per month – Weekday late afternoons and potential weekend hours
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and consistent care during respite hours
- Engage in fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment
- Use redirection techniques, if necessary, with patience and calm demeanor
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Experience working with special needs children, autism, and mental health conditions
- Age 18 or older at the start of employment
- Willing to undergo a background check prior to hire
