Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have experience in various educational or recreational settings. The Attendant will be responsible for supervising and engaging with children in a safe and enjoyable environment, promoting their development through structured activities and play. We are looking for someone who is available 8:00AM to 3:00PM Monday through Friday.
Duties
- Supervise and interact with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.
- Support children's learning through tutoring or educational games, fostering a love for learning.
- Assist in behavior management strategies to create a positive environment conducive to growth.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate events, camps, or special programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized space for children to play and learn.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Changing/potty training children
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, childcare, tutoring, or special education is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques is highly beneficial.
- Skills in sports coaching, theater, or camp activities are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with children of various ages.
- A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks as part of the hiring process.
- Must be 18 years or older
