Childcare Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times
• Support children’s emotional development through positive behavior management and encouragement
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing classroom or daycare setting that fosters childhood development

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Classroom experience or early childhood education training is highly desirable
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs
• Experience with behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; training can be provided if needed
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that support learning and growth

Pay: $12.00 - $12.25 per hour
