Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development in line with early childhood education standards.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
• Facilitate engaging lessons and activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and support child welfare.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to classroom management, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
• Experience in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
• Proven classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring special education support.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children alike.
• Familiarity with daycare regulations, preschool standards, and child welfare policies.
• Competence in lesson planning, tutoring, behavior management strategies, and working with students across different age groups.
