Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development in line with early childhood education standards.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Facilitate engaging lessons and activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and support child welfare.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to classroom management, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
- Proven classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
