Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience with childhood development, classroom experience, and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for engaging children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering positive behavior management strategies. Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a variety of settings, including daycare centers, homes, or educational environments
- Plan and implement educational activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including administering first aid when necessary
- Support behavioral management and encourage positive social interactions among children
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Work with children with disabilities or special needs to provide inclusive care tailored to individual requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education methods
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom discipline strategies
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is highly valued
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports emotional and social growth
