Responsibilities

• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure their safety at all times
• Implement engaging, educational activities tailored to different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities
• Provide attentive care that promotes childhood development milestones through play, teaching, and social interaction
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral issues
• Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care as required

Qualifications

• Prior experience (1 year) working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and guidance strategies.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and team members effectively.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young minds.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting infants or assisting children during activities
