Childcare Provider

Job Summary:
A Daycare Teacher provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. They plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, support children's physical, emotional, and social development, and ensure the health and safety of every child in their care. The teacher works closely with parents and other staff to promote each child's growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and play experiences.
• Support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
• Assist children with feeding, toileting, diaper changing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's progress and behavior.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Encourage positive behavior and teach good manners and social skills.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (required within 90 days of employment).
• Knowledge of child development and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication, patience, creativity, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
