Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering positive growth through engaging activities. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help children thrive physically, emotionally, and socially while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Duties

• Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and creativity
• Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
• Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist children with classroom activities or during outings to promote social skills and independence

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
• Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Ability to handle toddlers’ care routines including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-specific activities
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, guardians, and team members
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
