Join our dedicated team as a Childcare Provider Assistant and play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of young children. Duties

  • Assist lead childcare providers in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and learning sessions.
  • Support classroom management by helping organize activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development.
  • Engage with children through age-appropriate play, educational exercises, and behavioral guidance to encourage positive interactions.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
  • Help implement individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation.
  • Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care routines for toddlers and infants under supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure cleanliness of the classroom and proper organization of educational materials.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members.
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for caregiving and supporting young learners.
