Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children of various ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting children's developmental needs through curriculum development and classroom management. The Childcare Teacher will play a vital role in nurturing children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development.
  • Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children to encourage social skills, emotional regulation, and self-confidence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, including assessments and standardized testing results when applicable.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to support each child's educational journey.
  • Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques such as Montessori or other educational philosophies.
  • Experience with special education, early intervention programs, literacy education, tutoring, and teaching physical education is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Passion for child welfare and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
