Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development, including Montessori methods and standardized testing preparation
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate classroom management strategies, behavior management techniques, and innovative teaching methods
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences
- Foster a nurturing environment by managing classroom dynamics, encouraging positive interactions, and maintaining discipline through effective behavior management
- Engage children in activities that promote childhood development, including physical education, arts, music, and literacy education
- Monitor individual progress through assessments and documentation to tailor instruction and support ongoing learning goals
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to ensure comprehensive child welfare and educational success
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques
- Experience developing curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and Montessori methodologies is highly desirable
- Familiarity with working with students with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Proven ability to plan lessons for various age groups while maintaining a safe and supportive environment
- Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
