As a Daycare Teacher, you’ll help create a positive and enriching environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn every day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors while ensuring their safety and well-being
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and toileting
• Observe and document children’s growth and developmental progress
• Communicate with families about their child’s day and milestones
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed daycare or preschool setting
• Food Handler’s Permit
• Valid TB test
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive, patient, and energetic personality
• Genuine passion for early childhood education
• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift to 40 pounds
• Ability to respond quickly in emergencies
• Ability to actively supervise children throughout the day
• Ability to provide a physically and emotionally safe environment
• Ability to stay alert, attentive, and engaged during work hours
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle if required for your position
