Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring smooth classroom management and behavior management strategies are in place to promote positive interactions.
- Engage with children through interactive lessons, play-based learning, and early intervention techniques tailored to individual needs, including special education considerations.
- Support toddlers and preschoolers with dedicated care routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times while ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Maintain organized lesson plans, classroom materials, and documentation aligned with standardized testing requirements and early childhood education standards.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social skills development through classroom management best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or private schools is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool environments.
- Knowledge of curriculum development techniques including Montessori methods and literacy education strategies.
- Experience in working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management tools.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; ongoing professional development in areas like tutoring or teaching physical education is encouraged.
