Teacher Aide

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementing instructional activities across subjects such as literacy, math, and early childhood education.
• Good with Social Media and online plateforms.
• Fast learner with good attitude.
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Work closely with children to promote development in areas like communication skills, childhood development, and social-emotional learning.
• Provide individualized attention to students with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges.
• Help prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and set up learning stations aligned with curriculum goals.
• Supervise children during activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff on curriculum development, classroom activities, and progress monitoring to support student success.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of special education strategies, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous.
• Experience in classroom management and lesson support across diverse age groups including toddlers, preschoolers, or kindergarteners.
• Familiarity with Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in team environments while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for working with children.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
