Childcare Worker

Job Summary:
Join our early childhood education team as a childcare worker! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming and engaging classroom where children can learn, explore, and grow. You’ll support preschoolers as they build important skills in early literacy, social development, and independence, while ensuring each child feels included and supported.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, is patient, and can adapt to the different needs of the classroom. This is a paid position and a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team while making a positive difference in children’s everyday learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods to promote their physical, emotional, and social development
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones and early learning goals
• Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining a clean, organized environment and adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
• Assist with diapering, toddler care, infant care, and behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation
• Support classroom routines by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for young learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities that incorporate early childhood education principles and developmental best practices.

• Support children with daily care needs and use positive behavior guidance strategies to encourage emotional regulation and cooperation.
• Prepare classroom materials, set up learning centers, and help maintain a welcoming and engaging environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
