Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chinese Teacher to teach Mandarin to children ages 4–12. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and experienced in working with young students in an educational setting. This is an in-person position at our Tangram location in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities

• Teach fun and interactive Mandarin lessons to children.
• Develop lesson plans that align with students’ age and proficiency levels.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Introduce Chinese culture through songs, stories, and hands-on activities.
• Communicate with parents and staff about students’ progress.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (required).
• Prior teaching experience, especially with children (required).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Teaching certification or degree in Education, Chinese Language, or related field (preferred).
• Passionate about language education and cultural exchange.
