Chiller Maintenance Technician – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chiller Maintenance Technician with a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Trane, Carrier, or York chiller systems. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and be ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Trane, Carrier, and York air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults in chiller systems and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and performance checks to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Maintain and adjust refrigerant levels in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Service and troubleshoot associated HVAC equipment including pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, compressors, motors, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot and repair chiller control systems, sensors, PLCs, and BMS-integrated systems.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and related documentation.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in chiller maintenance, specifically with Trane, Carrier, or York systems.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Familiarity with BMS systems and VFDs is an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ready to join immediately.
• UAE driving license is an advantage

Salary

AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month, based on experience, technical knowledge, and qualifications.
