Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chiller Operator to operate, maintain, and repair chiller and HVAC systems within our facility. The ideal candidate must hold a Certificate of Technical Education for Technicians or equivalent and have at least 5 years of experience in chiller operation and HVAC systems maintenance. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor chiller and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of chillers and related HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate logs of system operations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute maintenance tasks.
• Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in improving system efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certificate of Technical Education for Technicians or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chiller operation and HVAC maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Experience working in large facilities or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency practices in HVAC operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
