Chiller Operator-Avari Xpress Gulberg

Avari Xpress Gulberg is looking to Hire Chiller Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain chillers while ensuring all safety standards are followed.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and perform equipment repairs.
• Monitor and maintain chemical treatment systems for chillers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and solid-state control circuits.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical control devices (valves, strainers, gauges) for boiler/chiller systems and report leaks to the supervisor.
• Perform system shutdowns as required, including WAPDA-related shutdowns.
• Clean, replace, and restart valves and system components.
• Inspect and evaluate safety parameters regularly.
• Ensure proper use and care of all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Record hourly chiller readings accurately.
• Serve as a member of the hotel’s fire brigade.
• Follow all safety regulations and hotel policies as per the staff handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and professional appearance at all times.
• Supervise and train subordinates as needed.
• Maintain strong working relationships with guests, supervisors, and team members.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Matric (Required), Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical (Preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Preferred Industries: Hospitality, Construction, FMCG, or Manufacturing

• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Capable of understanding basic English and fluent in Urdu

Working Conditions:

• May occasionally work outdoors and be exposed to wet/humid conditions, fumes, and risk of electric shock.
• May work near moving mechanical machinery in moderate to low-noise environments.
