Chiller Operator (Facility Maintenance)

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Operator to operate, maintain, and monitor chiller systems for a reputed organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure chillers and associated cooling equipment function efficiently, reliably, and safely, supporting optimal facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor chiller plants, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure chillers are running efficiently and safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to reduce system downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in chiller systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams for major repairs and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports of chiller operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and organizational standards.

Qualification, Experience, and Skills:

• Diploma, ITI, or Trade Certificate in Mechanical, HVAC, or relevant technical stream.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience operating and maintaining chillers in facility management.
• Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID.
