Chiller Technician

We are seeking skilled and experienced Chiller Technicians to join a reputed organization in Qatar. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various types of chillers and HVAC systems, along with strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chillers.
• Carry out maintenance of chillers, chilled water pumps, pressurization units, FAHUs, AHUs, and FCUs as per the maintenance checklist.
• Service and maintain HVAC valves such as 3-way valves, isolating valves, and DRVs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of thermostats.
• Operate and maintain chemical dosing systems.
• Carry out condenser fan motor re-bearing and servicing.
• Diagnose and repair issues with refrigeration circuits, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and related components.
• Service and maintain chilled water and condenser water pumps.
• Conduct performance tests and ensure optimal operation of HVAC and chiller systems.
• Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) for monitoring and performance adjustments.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, log books, and chiller history books.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members regarding service updates and recommendations.
• Knowledge of Daikin, PETRA, and Carrier chillers; ability to rebuild them is preferred.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Diploma/ITI certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Chiller Technician in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of different chiller types (centrifugal, screw, scroll, reciprocating).
• Hands-on experience with Daikin, PETRA, and Carrier chillers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting refrigeration circuits, pumps, and HVAC equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID
