Job Summary:

The Chiller Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and associated HVAC systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues to ensure reliable and energy-efficient operation of cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller systems (centrifugal, screw, scroll, or absorption type).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues in chillers and related equipment.
• Inspect, test, and calibrate chiller components to ensure proper operation.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, pumps, valves, and sensors.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Assist in system commissioning and performance testing after installation or repair.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical staff for efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
• Provide technical recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or ITI Certificate in HVAC / Refrigeration / Mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chiller maintenance and repair (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, etc. preferred).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC control logic.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or mechanical plant environments.

Preferred:

• Valid UAE Driving License (for field service technicians).
• Experience in both water-cooled and air-cooled systems.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency best practices in HVAC systems.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
