Chiller Technician

The Chiller Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all types of chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled), HVAC systems, and associated equipment in commercial, residential, or industrial facilities. The role ensures optimal system performance and energy efficiency while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in chiller maintenance (facility management sector preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with major chiller brands (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling cycles, refrigerants, and BMS interfaces.
  • Certification in HVAC or chiller systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in building maintenance.

Skills Required:

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varying site conditions.
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
