Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chinese Home Healthcare Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and visitors, ensuring smooth daily operations within our healthcare office. Responsibilities
- Manage marketing duties to recruit new Chinese clients and care givers. Will depend time introducing our services to clients passing out flyers and making cold phone calls.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate calendar management for healthcare providers using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of patient records, insurance information, and medical documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist with office management tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software
- Support medical reception duties including verifying patient information, handling inquiries, and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data
- Perform clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and organizing files to ensure smooth workflow
- Provide customer support by addressing patient questions promptly and professionally while maintaining organizational efficiency
Experience
- Prior office experience in a healthcare or medical setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated clerical experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Bilingual fluency in Chinese and English is essential for effective communication with diverse patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling multi-line phone systems, data entry, filing systems, and calendar management
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties or dental receptionist experience is a plus
- Familiarity with office management software such as QuickBooks or bookkeeping tools enhances your suitability for this role
