Job description

Associate Chiropractor at a high volume clinic which has been established in the North Tampa Community for 15+ years.

Monday-Wednesday: 8am - 6pm

Friday: 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments by listening to patients' concerns and reviewing medical records
• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients by running different neurological and orthopedic assessments
• Record patient data and keep detailed records of every treatment session
• Perform musculoskeletal adjustments to relieve pain within a patient's body
• Consult with patients and offer techniques and ideas for them to improve their physical health and comfort in their every day life
• Refer patients to see other types of specialists when necessary
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Build and maintain positive doctor-patient relationships
• Help the chiropractic facility continue to generate new patients through marketing events.

Qualifications

• Willingness to train on instrumentation, traction devices and other corrective care techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build and maintain relationships with patients
• Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle a large patient load while working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to empathize with patients who are in chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of life
• Must be able to think critically and make judgments about how best to help patients
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Up to date on the latest chiropractic practices and a desire to provide cutting-age care
• Must be in good physical condition and have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on patients

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
