Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chocolate Chef with a strong background in luxury chocolate brands and high-end hotel environments. The ideal candidate will specialize in chocolate production, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and consistency in delivering premium-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production of high-end chocolate products, including pralines, truffles, bonbons, bars, and artistic showpieces
- Perform advanced chocolate techniques such as tempering, molding, enrobing, and sculpting
- Ensure all chocolate production meets luxury brand standards in taste, texture, and presentation
- Develop innovative recipes and seasonal collections aligned with market trends
- Oversee daily chocolate production operations and maintain efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
- Manage inventory and sourcing of premium chocolate ingredients
- Train and supervise junior team members in chocolate production techniques
- Collaborate with pastry and culinary teams in menu and product development
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in chocolate production
- Proven experience with luxury chocolate brands and/or 5-star hotel environments
- Advanced knowledge of chocolate techniques and production processes (tempering, molding, enrobing, etc.)
- Creativity, Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment (under pressure and meet deadlines)
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts
- Experience in international luxury brands or renowned hotels
- Strong understanding of current trends in premium chocolate and confectionery
